Simon van der Jagt is the CEO of Nowi, a tech startup that is using WiFi, GSM and 4G signals as a power source for connected sensors. Nowi climate sensors are able to get energy from the WiFi signals that are all around us, and as as result do not need cables and require less battery changes. Nowi sensors are a game-changing technology in the IoT space. The company has won the Accenture Innovation award in 2016, the USWC 2016 Internet of Things innovation, and a finalist for the Asian Utility Week Innovation Award Simon was a speaker at IoT Amsterdam 2015.
