Lee Funnell has been working in the telecommunications industry for over twenty years working for major manufacturers in free space optics and structured cabling; and for the past decade with the Siemon Company as the EMEA Technical Manager. The EMEA technical team offers services that for example include structured cabling training, structured cabling audits, data centre design & intelligent building design and involvement on many of the European technical standards committees. Lee is currently holds positions in the following technical groups: British Standards Institute Premises Cabling Experts Panel: TCT 7/-/1, Management Council of the Intelligent Buildings Group, Former Director of the Fibreoptics Industry Association, and Former Technical Director (cabling) for the Data Centre Alliance.
