Aglaia Kong is the CTO for Corporate Networking at Google. She is responsible to define and deliver SDN-based infrastructure, and to leverage the infrastructure to enable network as a service, including smart building management. Prior to Google, Aglaia Kong was the CTO for IOT solution and VP of Technology at Cisco leading solution innovations for IOT (to optimize their operations via data analytics and drive new business value.) In this role, she worked closely with partners and industrial experts to create new solutions for verticals like oil & gas, manufacture, energy, smart cities/nations and health care and more. Aglaia Kong was previously VP/GM for Connected Platform Group in Cisco Enterprise Networking Group, and CTO for Cisco China. She was responsible for product and architecture strategy, strategic partnerships, and innovative technology incubation specifically focusing on China and emerging countries. She was a core member of Cisco Cloud Computing and IoT Work Groups which bridge the latest technology and research from industrial to real life needs regarding next generation technology design in China. Prior to Cisco, Aglaia held the honorable title of Symantec Fellow and was CTO for Storage & Availability Management Group. She has many patents and many publications.
